GatorGirlRocks is the best ever rockhounding resource for children & their families.  This website provides thousands of rockhounding resources and includes information for every state in America.  The website is completely free.  Better yet, it is not plaugued with advertising.

Welcome.  I'm Zoe Tolbert and
GatorGirlRocks is my website.

GatorGirlRocks provides information about rocks, minerals, gems, and fossils as well as rockhounding resources, museums, neat places to visit, and some rockhounding sites.  In addition, the website includes useful rockhounding resources including my Best Ever Guides
 - (covering topics such rockhounding gear, safety tips, rock tumbling & polishing, and rockhounding law).  You can download any of these if you wish.

Be certain to visit Charity Rocks! and The Rock Exchange.

Charity Rocks! is where I sell some of my rock, gem, mineral, and fossil specimens to benefit some very fine charitable organizations.  All of the profits - 100% - goes to charity.

The Rock Exchange
allows children and rock clubs to swap rocks, gems, fossils, and minerals.  This allows children and families to add specimens to their collection from sites that they might not otherwise be able to visit.
Pictures from top to bottom:  (1) Me (age 3) rockhounding near Vail, Colorado; (2) Me with some trilobites that I found in Utah; (3) Me looking for rocks in Italy; (4) Me with some chaledony roses in Arizona in Winter 2007; and (5) That's me at the summit of Mount St Helens (WA) - I climbed it on 07-07-07.  Note:  These pictures (and most others on this site) will enlarge if you click on them.
